They did an absolutely amazing job replacing our old leech field and septic and installing a brand new system. They responded quickly, gave us the best price for the job, and left the property in better shape when they left. There was a few unexpected complications because of our property and they quickly came up with solutions that both resolved the problem and kept the project well within budget. The guys who came out did an amazing job finding the septic, cleaning it out and explain how the system works. Could not have asked for a better experience. Once the weather cooperated, the guys made quick work of a big job.. septic tank pumping and replacement, inlet and outlet pipe replacement, and then their camera found an additional problem that needed to be fixed, which they did. They were very straightforward about everything they were doing, taking me through the process and even showing me the camera footage. My septic system is 1000% better after they did the work. Everyone was very cordial, from those in the office to those in the field, and efficient with their and my time. They even dug up my first distribution box to check it's health and flagged it for me at no additional cost. Hire them.

About Septic Systems

What is a Septic System?

A septic system is a vital component of your entire plumbing system. It is a small-scale onsite wastewater treatment plant that processes household waste. This waste is also known as effluent.

As wastewater from the home enters the septic tank, effluent is moved from the septic tank and enters the absorption trench. The effluent disperses as it is absorbed into the soil surface.

Meanwhile, the oil and grease will float to the top of the tank, known as scum. Your septic tank will prevent the sludge and scum from leaving the tank and traveling into your drain field.

The Functions of a Septic Tank

Your septic tank is where the first stage of wastewater treatment begins. The conditions in the tank are ideal for bacterial growth. The bacteria will use organic waste as food.

After processing, it settles to the bottom of the tank. Since the fats and grease are lighter than water, these continue to float on top of the water.

The area between the sludge and scum is the clear zone. This zone is where treated wastewater moves out from the tank. The gases generated are generally vented through the property’s plumbing vents.
